This is just the edge if being at face to face with real death. This is a time when all hope seems to be gone, when you percieve the end is far more near. Nothing to say, no persuation to revoke on the concluded punitive measures already decided upon. This time is usually just when all hope seems to be lost and is left only oneself alone amd God up there.
There was this story of a man of God having an international ministry. Towards the time when the ministry was to celebrate the Ten year anniversary, a religious programme to that effect, was organised to grace the occasion.
The day came into being when everything was set and put in place. The memebers, both at home and abroad came home and all were in harmonious mood. The programme started while the general overseer mounted the pulpit and started to minister powerfullly in the power of the Almighty God. At this point in time when things are to be going on smoothly and orderliness took control of the place, then the devil crept in to the place to perpetrate his evil tendencies. There was a woman, stripped at her back a dead child came directly to the altar in front of the man of God and flung down her dead child and ran away.
The first statement that would come out of the ministring General overseer was very shocking ad timid. This was because, the situation was least expected. This was purely human responsiveness to situations and occurences. No human being that would have been indroctrinated by the divine spirit and doctrine of God. That was why Jesus was let loose into the world as no more than ordinay human beings, to watch, to observe and to test Him whether He will scale through without any kind of denial, disobedience and pretence. Jesus was able to endure, persevere and scaled through all rigours, all the troubles and worries to pass through this world. if Jesus could do this in human form. This is then showing us examples of obedience , tolerance, perseviarance , humility, and readiness to sacrifice oneself for others , which if faithfully put on , one will not be found wanting.
How is it that it is you on this glorious and faithful day? this was a statement thatcame out of the man of God. Few seconds later , then there was a kind of divine intervention. H oly spirit took over the situation and the whole place, while the ministring general overseer changed his ultrance and asked the ushers to carry up the dead child to pray for for him. For bearly 20 minutes, the minister prayed for the dead child and came back to life.Glory be to God in the highest.
The design of the Almighty God fo Jesus Christ to come into the World , to come and die for us is practical bringing out a new life for the entire human race. Without His death on the cross of calvary,there would not have been a new life for us in Him. This is a simple design of the work of nature by God for human race.
